Hardi Kurda ist Komponist, Klangkünstler, Improvisator, Forscher, Kurator und Gründer von SPACE21 für experimentelle Musik und Klangkunst in Slemani, Region Kurdistan im Irak. Kurdas Performances sind interaktiv und erkunden das Frequenzspektrum von Radios als Klangmaterial, um über seine illegale Reise nach Europa zu reflektieren und die Konstruktion von Legalität zu hinterfragen.
Moderiert von Rim Irscheid (King’s College London) stellt er sich im Talk unter Anderem den Fragen des Publikums.
Hardi Kurda is a composer, sound artist, improviser, researcher, curator and founder of SPACE21 for experimental music and sound art in Slemani, Kurdistan region in Iraq. Kurda’s performances are interactive and explore spectrum frequency of radios as sound material to reflect on his illegal journey to Europe and question the construction of legality. Moderated by Rim Irscheid (King’s College London), he engages with the questions of the audience during the talk, among other topics.
